Madison Geeks Group (“we”) keeps as little personal information as possible, holds it for as short a time as we can, and never sells or rents it. This page describes what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on this site, we collect the values you type (typically: name, phone or email, a sentence or two about your device or business). When you sign in, we store your sign-in identifier (an email or phone number), an authentication token, and your customer record. We do not collect passwords because we don’t use them.
When you bring a device into the shop, we record what you brought, what we did to it, and any parts we installed. We keep this in our repair-ticket system so we can honor your warranty later. We don’t look at the contents of your drives unless you ask us to (for data recovery, for example), and we don’t copy your files anywhere we don’t need to.
Our website analytics, when enabled, count anonymous visits using a privacy-respecting tool (Plausible). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not use Google Analytics. We do not run third-party fingerprinting scripts on this site.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We don’t add you to marketing lists you didn’t ask to be on. We don’t reuse your information for purposes you didn’t consent to.
Cookies
We use one cookie group: an authentication token stored in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in. We do not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or social-media cookies.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we have, email hello@madisongeeks.com and we will delete it immediately.
Asking us to delete your info
Email hello@madisongeeks.com with the subject line “Delete my data.” We will confirm your identity, then delete your customer record, sign-in identifier, and repair-ticket history within thirty days. We may retain anonymized records of completed work where required by tax or warranty law.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date above. Older versions stay on file with KC.
