These terms govern your use of madisongeeks.com and the services we deliver in the shop and on-site. By using the site or bringing us a device, you agree to them.
Who we are
Madison Geeks Group is a Wisconsin business operating from 6502 Odana Road, Madison, WI 53719. KC Cunningham is the founder and principal contact.
Diagnostics & quotes
We offer free diagnostics on most repairs: if we open a device, look at it, and conclude it’s beyond economic repair, you don’t pay for the diagnosis. Once we provide a written quote and you authorize the work, that quote stands unless we discover a new fault during repair, in which case we will stop and re-quote before continuing.
Warranties
Our warranty terms are summarized on the warranty page. The short version: 30 days on labor, 90 days on parts we install, 1 year on hardware in systems we build, no fix no charge on diagnostics.
Customer property
Devices left with us for more than 90 days after the agreed pickup date may be considered abandoned and disposed of at our discretion, consistent with Wisconsin state law. We always try to reach you first via the contact info you provided.
Liability
We carry full liability insurance and we work as carefully as we can. That said: bring backups. We’re a small business and our maximum liability for any single repair is the amount you paid us for that repair. We are not liable for data loss arising from hardware failure that was already imminent before the device arrived.
Acceptable use
Use of this website for any unlawful purpose, or to scrape pricing for republication, is not permitted. Don’t try to break our authentication, our forms, or our staff. We’re a small shop; we notice.
Disputes
If something has gone wrong, please call KC at (608) 467-4012 or email hello@madisongeeks.com. We will work to resolve it. Any dispute we can’t resolve informally is governed by Wisconsin law and resolved in Dane County courts.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we’ll update the effective date above and post a notice on the site for thirty days.
